2 Takay Health Check-Up
On 30 August 2025, a special healthcare initiative titled “2 Takay Health Check-Up” was successfully conducted in Kanchan, Purbachal, Dhaka. The program was organised by the State University of Bangladesh Pharmacy Club and the Health Wing of the Pharmacy Club, with the support and collaboration of “2 Takay Upohar”.
The primary objective of this initiative was to provide basic healthcare services to underprivileged communities, while also promoting health awareness at the grassroots level.
Under this program, 115 underprivileged individuals received essential health check-up services at a nominal cost of BDT 2. The services included blood grouping tests, blood pressure measurement, body mass index (BMI) assessment, pulse rate monitoring, glucose level testing, oxygen saturation measurement, and awareness of the proper use of medicines.
